Whole House Carbon Plus Undersink Carbon

I purchased a FS20B-3 whole house filtration system. In addition I had Dan custom build me a 5 stage undersink carbon system with 1 micron sediment, AAL (for Flouride reduction), Granular Carbon/KDF, Modified molded carbon briquette, and Pb-1 filters. Attached are the test results for my water.

As you can see the city water was high in Trihalomethanes. These are carcinogenic byproducts or chlorination. The FS20B-3 whole house system reduced the levels dramatically, knocking some down to non-detectable levels. If we had gone with a larger backwashing whole house carbon, Dan says we could have gotten them down to non-detectable levels at the whole house level.

Then we had the water tested after the undersink system. It took the trihalomethanes down to non-detectable levels. Very impressive. I am also concerned about flouride, but I didn't want to use reverse osmosis. The Activated Alumina cartride took levels from 0.8 ppm down to 0.4 ppm. Not total reduction, but 50%. At the time of the test the Activated Alumina cartridge had been in use for over 4 months as did all of the cartridges. Maybe it was becoming saturated already. I will do more testing at a later date.

I sent a detailed request for an estimate to our local plumber to install a well filtration system, complete with technical specifications, photographs, measurements of available space for installation, etc., and in two months, the plumber hasn't contacted me. Another plumber backed out of the job, when I was interested in better than 20 micron filtration. Your website showed systems which met and EXCEEDED my technical standards! Not too bad! :-)

I have been training dogs for many years with protection dogs being my specialty. I recently located my business toa property in the mountains where we were zoned for the type of training we do. When we moved in there was a well and a storage tank. Water trickled out of the faucets with rusty brown and black stains everywhere. Hi, I'm Kirby from Spaceport Systems International. We are a private company that runs a space launch facility at Vandenburg Air Force Base. One of the staff engineers found Big Brand Water on the internet and arranged a lunch meeting with Dan. Dan gave us a bid on a commercial reverse osmosis system to operate some of the equipment here in our mechanical room. We were on a tight budget so we worked an arrangement where we woud do the installation with Dan's assistance for a few days. Body: The only aspect of this online transaction that could be improved involved the fact that the item was not in stock and was to be drop-shipped from the factory. This information was not posted on the web site. I spent time needlessly watching for a shipment tracking number to show up on the web site, when in fact, none would be in the case of a drop-shipment. I queried the vendor on this by email and got the info by that means. A quick email from the merchant on receipt of my order advising me of the situation would have been appreciated.
